The A-Head Bracket Mount for the Hamax Observer child bike seat requires only 1/2 inch of clearance. It should be used on threadless headsets or any stems that have less than 2 inches of clearance. The A-Head Bracket requires removal of the handlebars to install. We highly recommend that the bracket is mounted by a trained bike technician or bike shop. Please read the assembly manual carefully.
The Observer easily installs onto one side of the bracket. At this time, the optional Windshield accessory does not fit onto the A-Head Bracket. Acquiring an extra bracket for the Observer allows you to easily transfer the seat between bikes.
