The Hamax Caress Rear Child Bike Seat is available in two attachment options to fit the widest variety of bike styles. Each option is listed separately, so please read carefully to determine the option that will meet your needs.

1. Frame Mount (w/ Bracket)

Secures directly to the bike frame with a dual-bar steel suspension system and lockable bracket, fitting most bike frames 28-40 mm in diameter. If your bike DOES NOT have a cargo/luggage/carrier rack, choose this option. This style is not compatible with most e-bikes or carbon frames.

One of the smaller lockable bracket designs on the market, this design mounts on the bike frame without interfering with important components or your comfort. With the simple push of a button, you can secure the anti-theft lock and take the keys with you. Acquiring a second lockable bracket allows you to easily transfer the seat between bikes.

2. Rack Mount (w/ Carrier Adapter)

Secures to your bike’s cargo/luggage/carrier rack with a dual-spring suspension adapter, fitting racks 120-180 mm wide with tubes between 10-20 mm in diameter. Your bike’s rack must also have a minimum weight capacity of 55 lb. This style accommodates e-bikes, carbon or non-standard frames with an installed cargo/luggage/carrier rack.

With the simple push of a button, you can secure the anti-theft lock and take the keys with you. Its innovative twist-closure design allows for tool-free installation and easy transfer between rack carriers on different bikes.

Pretty good little seat, our one year old baby girl loves being outside and this allows her to go with me on bike rides. I love how easy it is to take the carrier off if I decide to trail ride that day. Already recommended to several people!

Satisfied with the product. I purchased 2 of these seats to go on my blix packa cargo bike. They work great, very good design. Only downfall is, the padding. The seats literally have no padding at all for the kids.

Great infant/toddler seat for the beach as it cushions the ride on a fat tire ebike. 2 negatives though: 1. It’s made in China, which I don’t like as I like to support democracies and not authoritarian communist countries who do not believe in human rights; and 2. The straps on the seat are a little complex and not very robust. The shell of the seat is great though and I think the design dynamic is very simple but clever.
