While Hamax seats offer a adjustability and multiple attachment options, it’s ultimately impossible to know the frame/tubing size and design limitations for every bike model. We highly encourage you to refer to the general guidelines for frame sizes provided and measure your own bike to verify compatibility. In most cases, if you do this, you will find a successful fit for your bike. If you have any trouble with assembly, we will do our best to assist and if ultimately unsuccessful, will work with you to ensure a hassle-free return.

Yes, Caress, Rack-Mounted models may be fitted to luggage carriers. The other seats can be attached to the frame using a bracket.

You’ll need a 3/16″ Allen wrench.

Hamax supplies additional fastening bars for smaller frame sizes. We also supply bars that allow the angle of the seat to be adjusted forward and backward and that allow the seat to be lowered. Contact Hamax through the Contact Us page to order a bar which is suitable for your bike.

The Outback is already set in a relaxed position, the reclining feature is not currently offered on our current model and wont be available until 2020 after it surpasses US Standards.

This trailer is intended for transportation of children on public roads with light traffic, sidewalks, and smooth paths. Riding on rough off-road conditions is considered unintended use and can void the warranty.

The storage space in the Outback ONE measures 17” x 11”. The Outback is 37.4” tall, 33.9” wide, and 42.9” long without an attachment. The trailer is water-resistant and has built-in ventilation which includes sunshade, bug screen, and rain cover with storage pocket.

We suggest to keep speed under 15mph when using the trailer hitch to tow, and no faster than 10mph for the Jogger/Stroller.

Hamax child bike seats are designed for children from 9 months to 48.5 lbs and are designed and produced in accordance with relevant standards. The seats have adjustable footrests and harness straps so that the seat can be adapted to your child’s growth. More information is available under each product.

Hamax child bike seats can be fitted to most bikes with a frame size of 28-40 mm.

Yes. Hamax Caress models can be reclined to 12.5 and 20 degrees respectively.

Hamax USA ships from Bonney Lake, WA using either FedEx or USPS depending on the size of the package. Orders placed before 12pm PST on a business day are shipped out the same day.
