This jogger WANTS to go! Zips down the street or trail with incredible ease! The turning takes some getting used to, as you have to slightly lift the front wheel off the ground to turn. This seems necessary to ensure stability while going so fast, compared to simply strolling at walking speeds. Installation takes about a minute: pop the wheel in, clasp on the brake, and secure the brake cable in several places along the base of the stroller. Great for when we want to go FAST!

We had an issue with the brake handle not attaching to the bike trailer handlebar. We contacted Hamax and they sent a replacement promptly. Hamax customer service is great! The jogging wheel rolls smoothly and is great for running and roller blading. The brake is a nice feature that wasn’t available with most other brands. Great product!

The jogging kit is great! Having a brake for the wheel is a nice feature, but I don’t feel it is necessary. Easy to switch from stroller wheels to the jogging wheel. Wheel seems very durable also.

We LOVE our Hamax trailer! However, this jogger kit feels like a complete waste of money. While it adds a smoother ride than the wheel that comes with the trailer, it is extremely cumbersome and difficult to turn because the wheel does not swivel. Even worse, the brake is absolutely worthless and unsafe for steep declines.
I wish we hadn’t spent the extra money for the jogging kit. We ultimately decided to buy a completely different stroller for walks/runs, and use the Hamax exclusively for bike rides.
